Bountiful City Council will hold a special council meeting on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 795 South Main Street. The meeting will center on a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected city officials and is open to the public, with a livestream available through the city’s website shortly before the meeting begins.
Utah Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson will preside over the ceremony, administering the oath of office to Mayor Kate Bradshaw and newly elected councilmembers Dan Bell and Beth Child. The agenda also includes musical selections by the Bountiful Philharmonia and remarks from the newly sworn-in officials before the meeting adjourns.
