Halloween is here, and Bountiful is packed with festive fun for all ages! From Main Street trick-or-treating to spooky community parties and even a hot air balloon stop, here’s some fun things to check out happening locally this weekend.
Trick or Treat on Main
When & Where: October 31, Bountiful Main Street, 4–6 p.m.
Details: Calling all ghosts and ghouls! Businesses up and down Main Street will be handing out treats during this community-favorite Halloween celebration. Come dressed in costume and enjoy a safe, family-friendly trick-or-treat experience right in the heart of Bountiful.
Sensory-Friendly Trick or Treat — Hosted by Kuska Autism Services
When & Where: October 31, 2–4 p.m. 95 E 2200 S, Bountiful (across from Dick’s)
Details: Halloween can be overwhelming for some children, so Kuska Autism Services is hosting a sensory-friendly trick-or-treat event designed for a calmer, more comfortable celebration.
Activities include:
- Games, crafts, and storytelling
- Bounce house and scavenger hunt
- Face painting and trick-or-treating

Trick or Treat a Hot Air Balloon — Hosted by Sumo Fiber
When & Where: October 31, 4–6 p.m. The Square, 500 W 2600 S, Bountiful
Details: Stop by Sumo Fiber for a free goody bag — and catch a glimpse of a hot air balloon while you’re there! A fun, unique twist on the Halloween tradition.
Dracula and Goodie Bags — Bountiful House of Salt
When & Where: October 31, 4–8 p.m. 2132 Orchard Dr, Bountiful
Details: Stop by the Bountiful House of Salt for a Halloween photo with Dracula himself and grab a free goodie bag!
Trunk or Treat at TruSpeed
When & Where: October 31, 5–7 p.m. 555 W 600 S, Bountiful
Details: Head to TruSpeed for a “Trunk or Treat” packed with candy, cool cars, and Halloween fun. Bring the family, check out local car builds, and enjoy a spooky evening with the community. Costumes welcome!
Brick or Treat — Bricks & Minifigs
When & Where: October 27–31. 575 W 2600 S, Bountiful
Details: Stop by Bricks & Minifigs anytime during Halloween week for a free mini bag of LEGO bulk! Come in costume and say “Brick-or-Treat!” to claim your treat.
Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween — Game Haven Bountiful
When & Where: October 31, 6 p.m. 273 W 500 S, Bountiful
Details: For Magic: The Gathering fans, Game Haven is hosting a special “Villainous Halloween” Commander event. Players bring their decks, secretly choose a villain card with unique win conditions, and compete for prizes and promos.
Busking Fun with Bountiful Open Mic
When & Where: October 31, 4–6 p.m. 55 N Main Street, Bountiful
Details: Enjoy live sidewalk performances from local musicians during the Main Street trick-or-treat event! Hosted by Bountiful Open Mic, this open mic “busking” event welcomes performers of all ages. Mics, amps, and a piano will be available — just show up and talk to David or Lon to join in!
The Not-So-Scary but Very-Much-Merry Boo-tacular Trick-or-Treat Bash
When & Where: October 31, 6–9 p.m. Abundant Life Church, 410 N Main, North Salt Lake
Details: Abundant Life Church is hosting a fun, family-friendly Halloween bash that’s more merry than scary! Expect candy, costumes, and community fun for all ages.
Candy Buy-Back Event — Bailey-Welling Orthodontics
When & Where: November 1, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. 59 W Pages Ln #100, Bountiful
Details: Too much Halloween candy? Bailey-Welling Orthodontics will buy your candy for $2 per pound (limit 5 pounds). A sweet way to give back — and cut down on sugar!
