When is the Bountiful Library closing?
The Bountiful Branch Library is set to close later this month for renovations.
According to an info board posted inside the library, renovations will begin on Jan. 26, 2026. The library will remain closed for a minimum of 18 months, which means it will open again sometime in mid to late 2027.
The library will be hosting a closing ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 1 pm to say goodbye to the old building. The public are invited to attend.
Where can I get books while the Bountiful Library is closed?
While the Bountiful library is closed for renovations, there will be several locations at which you can still check out books.
With your Davis County Library card, you will still have access to other libraries throughout the county, including the nearest one at the Centerville Branch. (45 S 400 W, Centerville, UT 84014)
And, according to the info board, a temporary location will be available in Bountiful at 85 N Main beginning sometime in February.
