The Road Home Is Seeking Donations This Season

The Road Home is putting out a call for community support as the winter season sets in and the need for shelter and basic essentials grows. Local residents here in Bountiful can lend a hand by donating items that can ease the strain on families and individuals experiencing homelessness.

Who The Road Home Is

The Road Home is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in crisis find stability, safety, and long-term housing. They provide emergency shelter, supportive services, and housing assistance to individuals and families across the Wasatch Front. Their mission centers on helping people overcome homelessness with dignity, compassion, and practical support.

Where You Can Donate

For those in Bountiful, donating has been made especially convenient. A donation box for The Road Home is now available at the local Hallmark store, at The Square Shopping Center, 541 W 2600 S. The donation boxes are just inside the doors and to your right. 

Their location makes it an easy way to contribute while running errands or picking up holiday items. Community members can simply drop off their contributions during store hours.

What Donations Are Needed

The Road Home is currently seeking essential items that directly support the people they serve. 

The items they are looking for now are:

Personal items

  • Body Wash
  • Shampoo
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Deodorant

Textile Items

  • Towels
  • Underwear (new)
  • Coats
  • Blankets

Any contribution—large or small—helps meet immediate needs and brings relief to those facing difficult circumstances.
