On Tuesday Nov. 11, the Bountiful Veteran’s Park held a Veteran’s Day Program honoring the service of all those who have served from Bountiful, Centerville, North Salt Lake, West Bountiful and Woods Cross in The United States Armed Forces.

Speakers at the service included Randy Lewis, former Bountiful mayor and son of a WWII vet, Chris Simonson of the Veteran’s Park Board, Dr. Ron Mortensen (Air Force Veteran), Bradley Trent (Air Force Veteran), and John Robertson (Marine Corps). 

The service also featured performances by the Bountiful High School Band and the Woods Cross High School Madrigals and Concert Choir. A 21 Gun Salute was given by members of the American Legion Post 79, and after the service there was a flyover by the Royall Air Force.
